Clients

Ideal Client

Small business owners are very good at providing the main service or product of the business, but not necessarily as good at the other management skills needed to run the business optimally.

Or maybe they are good at some of the other skills, but lack the time or interest to address them properly.

Or maybe they need to have certain initiatives carried out that they haven't had time, resources or capable people to execute.

Any one of these situations qualifies the small business owner as an ideal client.

When I team up with the owner to fill any one of these needs, the business receives more capable and effective management to more rapidly improve or move the business forward.

  • What they say:

"As a new business owner in an unrelated field to my experience, I needed someone with a non-vested interest and objective eye to my business and its future. Art was my eyes and ears for the first year. He helped me understand the business as well as set up policy, procedures and the design of fundamental dashboards to guide my business. He was instrumental to get me started and more importantly made sure I had the tools in place to take over the helm myself. Most consultants never prepare you to be able to live without them. A great consultant does and that is what Art is a 'GREAT CONSULTANT'". GM

The Giving Tree Outreach Program, Tucson, Arizona

  • Website: www.thegivingtreeoutreach.org
  • Period: June 2008 to present
  • Business: This non-profit organization, established 20 years ago, serves homeless and needy children. The organization, aided by many volunteers, covers a wide area in south-side Tucson. • My role: QuickBooks was brought in to manage donors after keeping donor lists and contributions on a shared Excel file. I ported the data from Excel to Quickbooks and helped with the data cleanup. I trained staff in QuickBooks, implemented some QuickBook capabilities, sent out the first email marketing letters to donors, and took responsibility to author, edit and publish future newsletters in order to increase donations.
  • How: I work in the office periodically and perform other tasks from home.

"I knew that our office needed help to get to the level of professionalism I wanted to operate on. Art helped achieve that and then went on to help us raise the bar to become even more efficient. He helped us solve problems I hadn't even begun to think about yet." KF

"Art's skills, enthusiasm, professionalism and dedication have been a real blessing to The Giving Tree Outreach Program. He came into our office, observed our operations, and immediately went to work on putting together a plan to streamline and modernize us. He has exceeded our expectations and we are happy to give him a glowing recommendation." YD
