How I work
My main objective is to add value to the already focused and overworked small business owner (see Ideal Client) as quickly as possible.
His or her satisfaction with my work becomes my best marketing. Since I employ no one else, there is never a hand-off to someone else.
Initial meetings will be used to establish tasks and their priority. A written contract based on understandings, will be drawn up and agreed to before any commitments are made either way.
No Surprises Policy
- Establish and maintain a trust relationship with my clients
- Only perform work that is directed or approved by my client beforehand. Results will be described in periodic progress reports
- Compensation can come in many forms, will always be adjusted to the affordability of the client, and formalized in an agreed, written contract.
- Travel, lodging and meal expenses will be conservative - as if using my own money.
- I will make an honest attempt to comply with company policies of my client
- No charges for commuting time within the Tucson metropolitan area
- No charges for learning time, unless knowledge is not reusable by me another time.

I will pay you $1/minute of interview time if I cannot respond with at least three improvement actions for your business that you haven't previously considered; plus I buy the coffee.
